THE LAM LAW LLC – Your legal need, Our Mission is proud to participate as a supporting sponsor for the 2024 Vietnam Mediation Moot (VMED 2024), co-organized by VICMC (Vietnam International Commercial Mediation Center) and the Hue University of Law, (HUL), part of Hue University, right in the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Hue.

In addition, our Managing Partner, Lam David, had the honor of serving as a judge for the competition, which brought together the top 20 teams selected from over 130 teams across 30 law schools nationwide. The final round took place over two days, from September 28-29, 2024.

This competition is more than just a challenge; it’s an opportunity to share the practicalities of mediation. Through their participation in mock mediation sessions, students were able to truly experience the value of commercial mediation. Furthermore, VMED 2024 has successfully helped spread the importance of mediation not only among legal professionals—lawyers, arbitrators, mediators, and the next generation—but also to the wider business community, highlighting the profound benefits of mediation for entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Though the competition has concluded, it has opened the door to countless new opportunities for connection and the ongoing promotion of mediation values in Vietnam.
