As part of the third installment in the VAS Crossover 2024 series, the upcoming online event titled “Elevating International Arbitration in Vietnam: From Fundamental Principles to Professional Skills” aims to further the teaching and importance of self-study in understanding international arbitration principles. This session will provide essential guidance for Vietnamese arbitration practitioners.

This special event will feature representatives from both domestic and international arbitration centers, including the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), TRACENT – HCMC COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION CENTER , the Vietnam Trade Arbitration Centre (VTA), and the Southern Trade Arbitration Centre (STAC), along with prominent lawyers, arbitrators, and scholars.

The quality of an arbitration proceeding is largely dependent on the expertise of the arbitrators involved. It is crucial for arbitrators to be equipped with professional skills to ensure the proceedings are conducted properly and that the arbitral award is enforceable. This third online workshop will focus on discussing the critical professional skills that arbitrators must possess when dealing with specific issues in an arbitration case.
